Polyurethan-Systems

The STEEL-IT Polyurethane System are liquid one-component products consisting of synthetic resin and specially manufactured stainless steel particles. After application, the solvents contained volatilise, leaving a very hard, resistant layer of 316L stainless steel and synthetic resin on the surface.
The outstanding properties of the stainless steel layer are fully realised by using the 2213 Precoat. For applications where weldability is critical, it is recommended to exclude the Precoat and apply two coats of the Topcoat instead.
