Description

The polyurethane topcoat has very good adhesion to metal and structural steel surfaces. The stainless steel layer offers unique, high-quality corrosion protection and provides the surface with excellent protection against impact, abrasion, moisture, solvents, alkalis, UV radiation and much more. The stainless steel coating is non-toxic. Some colour variants comply with USDA guidelines. The handy aerosol spray can makes small original jobs and touch-up work easy. It is applied directly from the aerosol spray can. The polyurethane topcoat is weldable! Early signs of damage are easy to recognise and can be repaired by welding the coating directly without mechanical pre-treatment. This is a decisive and time-saving advantage, not only in motorsport. For applications where weldability is paramount, it is recommended to omit the primer. Typical applications for polyurethane topcoat are: Automotive and motorsport, architecture, construction, food industry, agriculture, aerospace, marine (on-shore).

Coverage yield: 0.7 m2/spray can Coating thickness: 4 to 6 coats Recommended dry film thickness: 38 µm per coat To achieve a dry film thickness of 38 µm, a wet film thickness of 205 µm must be applied.
